* <fc #0000FF>Reminder: 2nd workshop on clumped isotopes (abstract submission and registration)</fc> *

Dear Colleagues,

We would to remind you that you are still welcome to register to the 2nd International Workshop on Clumped Isotopes, to be held at Imperial College London on the 10, 11 and 12 August 2011!

Abstract submissions and registration deadline is June 10th 2011, so it is coming up quickly.

We have already many registered participants and unfortunately, due to the size of the rooms, the number of participants will be capped to 100. So to ensure you can participate register quickly using the following website:

You will also be able to find on this website all the informations about the workshop and possible accommodations.

We are looking forward to see you in London !

* <fc #0000FF>2nd workshop on clumped isotopes: abstract submission is now opened</fc> *

Dear all,

You can now submit your abstracts for the workshop at Deadline for abstract submission is June 10th, 2011.

You can also now book accommodations at a reduced price, and the rooms will be allocated on a first come first served basis. You need to register to the workshop to receive information about accommodations.

* <fc #0000FF>2nd workshop on clumped isotopes, Imperial College London, August 10-12 2011</fc> *

Dear all,

We have the pleasure of announcing the 2nd International Workshop on Clumped isotopes, to be held at Imperial College, in the heart of London and minutes away from the Royal Albert Hall and the Natural History Museum. The workshop is co-organised by Imperial College London (Cedric John) and the University of East Anglia (Paul Dennis), and will take place the week preceeding the Goldshmidt Conference in Prague. Scientists flying to Europe for the Goldshmidt conference could take this opportunity to transit via London for the workshop.

The goal of the workshop is to gather all researchers working or intending to work on clumped isotope, to exchange practical knowledge on the technique, and to work towards inter-laboratory calibrations and standardisation of the methods.

Preliminary program:

• Tuesday, August 9: Ice breaker party
• August 10 - August 11: Clumped isotope workshop with oral presentations and posters. Conference dinner on the 11th of August
• Friday, August 12: Optional practical workshop in the stable isotope labs at Imperial College or the University of East Anglia

We anticipate the workshop to be free of charge, participants will simply need to cover their travel and accommodation costs.

At this stage we would appreciate if you could pre-register as soon as possible for the workshop: this will give us an idea of how many participants to expect, and how many presentations will be submitted. The final deadline for registration and abstract submission is June 10, 2011. To register, please visit the following link:

We are looking forward to seeing you in London for the workshop!

The organisation committee (Cedric John, Paul Dennis, Anne-Lise Jourdan, Simon Davis)

There is currently a mailing list used by Caltech-related people. Should this become a community-wide forum, or should someone set up a separate list comparable to the isogeochem list?
